— -- Kimberly was granted a second chance on Monday night's episode of "The Bachelor," though she wasn't able to make the most of it.

You'll recall that in last week's season premiere, the yoga instructor was eliminated by Chris Soules, and then she pulled him aside. Monday's episode began with her asking Chris for another opportunity. He obliged, to the dismay of some of the other women.

However, Kimberly's return to the competition was short-lived. She was snubbed again during the second rose ceremony of the season and was sent packing along with three others.

The two-hour episode showcased Chris' first dates as the new "Bachelor" star. During one group date, he threw a rooftop pool party for six women, allowing all involved to show off their firm bodies. He then led the bikini-clad ladies to the street for a tractor race in a nod to his day job as a farmer. Freelance journalist Ashley I. won the race, but instead he chose to spend alone time with Mackenzie, a dental assistant.

Mackenzie made two revelations to Chris while at a bar: She loves men with big noses and his nose is "perfect," and she has a child. Chris was a bit put off by the nose comment, but he still gave her a rose.

While Chris was on his group date, Megan and Jillian sneaked into his "Bachelor" home, where Megan put on his motorcycle helmet and rammed her head into the wall for some strange reason.

As it turned out, Megan, a makeup artist, was invited to Chris' first one-on-one date. They flew in a helicopter over the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. Over a picnic lunch, she discussed her father's death. The date ended with a rose and a kiss.

Eleven women -- including Juelia, a single mom who emotionally revealed to other bachelorettes that her child's father committed suicide -- took part in a scary group date. They were transported by limousine to an abandoned lot, where they were "attacked" by zombies. This turned into a game of paintball with Chris, which allowed Ashley S., the bachelorette who mistook a pomegranate for an onion, to continue her crazy antics. The date rose went to dance instructor Kaitlyn.

At the cocktail party, Chris had a makeout session with Ashley I., who admitted to the others she's a virgin. There were also some embarrassing moments for the intoxicated Jordan.

Jordan was dismissed at the rose ceremony, along with Kimberly, Tara and Alissa. Eighteen women remain in the competition.

Next week on "The Bachelor," ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel will make a special appearance.
