— -- Jordan Rodgers, the younger brother of Green Bay Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers, was the "Bachelorette" contestant who grabbed the most headlines before the show premiered on Monday.

In fact, JoJo Fletcher said that before she was asked to star in the show, she saw those stories too.

However, she went into filming without preconceived notions.

"I didn’t know what to expect from him. I knew that he was cute and I knew that he had some sort of fame but it didn't really play a factor in our relationship right off the bat," she told ABC News. "And night one I was expecting that to be a story with Jordan but he didn't lead with that."

"He was his own man," she added, "and that's something we ended up discussing as the season went on."

Fletcher, 25, said that she kept an open mind all through production, knowing that some guys would need time to open up to her. The process was full of ups and downs, she added, and the first night wasn't necessarily a high point.

"Night one was so overwhelming that I didn’t even know what to think!" she said. "[On] my first group date, the guys were all so much more attractive and so much more charming. ... I think everyone was so nervous [at first], so seeing them outside of that, it was so much better."

Though she couldn't say whether she found her husband during the process, Fletcher did admit that she's pleased with the outcome.

"I am really happy with who everything went down this season and how it ended," she said, "and I don’t regret anything."
