Bindi Irwin and her husband Chandler share photos of their newborn in her 1st Australia Zoo khakis

Bindi Irwin shares details on her road to motherhood

Bindi Irwin and her husband Chandler Powell marked their daughter turning 1-month-old on Sunday with an adorable photo shoot.

In the shoot, their newborn, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell, wore her first khaki outfit, which featured a logo for the Australia Zoo on the front of the shirt.

"To celebrate one month, our beautiful Grace Warrior received her first khakis and met the star tortoises here at Australia Zoo," Irwin captioned her post, featuring photos of Grace. "We’re so proud of our Wildlife Warrior princess."

"I know our darling girl is going to grow up caring for Mother Earth and all her animals," she added.

"One month of life with our beautiful girl❤️" he wrote alongside the sweet clip. "She’s already got her own khakis and is helping take care of star tortoises at #AustraliaZoo. We love you Grace!"

Irwin and Powell's daughter was born on their one-year wedding anniversary, March 25, 2021. In Irwin's post introducing baby Grace to the world, the new mom described her daughter as "the most beautiful light."

She also explained the special meaning behind Grace's name.

"Grace is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler’s family dating back to the 1700s," Irwin explained. "Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior. Her last name is Powell and she already has such a kind soul just like her dad."
