The film -- which also stars Florence Pugh, David Harbour and Rachel Weisz, among others -- was initially supposed to debut May 1, 2020, before it was bumped further in the year. It was then ultimately moved to 2021 -- but its debut date had remained a mystery to movie fans until now.

The announcement comes on the heels of the successful simultaneous theatrical and Disney+ Premiere Access release last year of Disney's "Mulan." Most recently, Disney's "Raya and the Last Dragon" got the same treatment. Also, Disney/Pixar's "Soul" was released on regular Disney+, as well as in limited theaters, last Christmas.
