Blake Lively, a mother of three young daughters, strongly criticized a tabloid that published a photo of her family that she claims was taken by a photographer who stalked them.

Commenting on a now-deleted post, which was captured via screenshot by Comments By Celebs, Lively wrote, "You edit together these images together to look like I'm happily waving. But that is deceitful."

The "Gossip Girl" alum continued, "The real story is: My children were being stalked by a men [sic] all day. Jumping out. And then hiding. A stranger on the street got into words with them because it was so upsetting for her to see."

Lively, who is married to fellow actor Ryan Reynolds, said she would "calmly approach the photographer ... in order to speak to him" but he would "run away. And jump out again at the next block." She called the experience "frightening."

While calling for media outlets to run background checks on photographers, the actress said, "Where is your morality here? I would like to know. Or do you simply not care about the safety of children?"

Lively added that she did speak to a few other photographers and allowed them take photos of her only if they left her children out of the shot.

"Please stop paying grown a-- men to hide and hunt children," the actress closed her post. "There are plenty of pictures you could've published without the kids. Please delete. C'mon. Get with the times."

Lively later commented on Comments By Celebs' screenshot and asked fans to "stop following and block any publications or handles who publish kid’s pictures."

The actress suggested more publications will cease sharing "photos of children obtained by men frightening and stalking them" if enough readers take a stand.

"Thank you to everyone who’s made that difference already," said Lively, calling what she experienced "f------ scary."
