— -- Blake Shelton opened up about his divorce from Miranda Lambert, saying he's doing better after a rough summer.

"I'm good, I'm not in rehab," he joked about tabloid reports during an interview with CMT's Hot 20 Countdown. "I have to pick up a magazine every now and then to see what's going on with my alter ego, I guess."

He continued, "I'm in a good place. I wasn't, but I am now. It's amazing how quickly life can turn around for you."

Shelton is "loving" some recent turn of events, though he didn't say exactly what.

What he did say was how he lost some unwanted weight and his new health kick.

"I would like to sit here and tell you I've been exercising, but I haven't been," he added. "I push mow my lawn," he added, though he jokes he's got enough money to have a riding mower.

"One day, in the middle of crisis and chaos in my personal life, I walked out and I was just thinking, 'What's going on in my life?'" he said. "[And] what the hell is going on with my yard?! Are you kidding me, it's like 3-feet tall out here."

He added that mowing his own lawn helped him lose 20 pounds.

After more than four years of marriage, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert announced their divorce two months ago.

Shelton spoke out last month about the A-list split, which was finalized so fast, on the Bobby Bones Show, saying, "In Oklahoma, it happens so fast. Like, Miranda and I didn't have any kids, and we had a pre-nuptial agreement, whatever we had. Once we filed for divorce, it was over in, like, I think it was like a nine or ten day waiting period until it's over."
