March 29, 2011 — -- Britney Spears' performed songs from her new album before thousands of fans who gathered at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, and they cheered in appreciation as the pop star expressed great passion for her art.

"I love music. It's my world. It's my everything," the 29-year-old singer said during a concert that aired today on "Good Morning America."

The concert was held Sunday before a crowd of 5,000 loyal fans.

"I love you guys. I love this city," Spears said.

Spears announced dates for her summer tour, which kicks off June 17 in Sacramento. The pop star will visit 26 cities including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Miami and Boston, and close with a performance in Toronto. Click here to see all of her concert dates.

Spears sang three songs from her seventh album "Femme Fatale," which is being released today.

She kicked off the concert on a high note, and donned a silver sequined body-suit as she sang "Hold It Against Me."

Each song was accompanied by highly produced dance routines -- complete with fireworks. Fans screamed their approval.

Some fans had actually camped out all night to see her.

"I thought it was amazing. She was really great," said Sarah Ammann of San Francisco.

"She's the ultimate performer. She's definitely back," added Alicia Kennon of Brentwood, Calif.

For her performance of "Big Fat Bass," Spears changed costumes and surprised concertgoers by coming out of a speaker.

Wearing a black leotard with fishnet tights, she finished up her set with the song "Till The World Ends."
