Christina Aguilera shares rare photos of 12-year-old son Max on vacation
They grow up so fast!
Christina Aguilera usually keeps her children shielded from the public eye, but earlier this week she shared a rare photo of son Max to social media.
"Escaped into nature for a bit," the "Genie in a Bottle" singer, 39, captioned the post, also including a green heart emoji.
Two photos shared feature Aguilera and Max, 12, wearing cowboy hats while standing in the doorway of an RV.
The Grammy-winner tagged fiancé Matthew Rutler as the likely photographer. The two, who got engaged in 2014, share daughter Summer, 5.
Earlier this year, for Max's birthday, Aguilera penned a sweet message for her son, writing, "I love being your mom - thanks for constantly teaching ME new things in life and things about myself through knowing you, loving you and watching you grow."
"I can't wait to experience all the adventures ahead for you and what exciting things life brings your way," she gushed. "I know whatever lies ahead, you will always dive head first in knowing yourself, navigating the path you want to be on and sharing the light you shine no matter where you go!"
Aguilera shares Max with ex-husband Jordan Bratman, who she married in 2005. The former couple called it quits in 2011.
