'Dancing with the Stars' season 35: See who is eliminated

"Dancing with the Stars" season 35 has officially begun, with a new group of celebrities competing for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.

As the competition heats up each week, couples will be eliminated based on judges' scores and viewer votes until one pair is crowned the season 35 champion.

The season kicked off with a special two-night premiere on Sept. 15 and Sept. 16, with the male celebrity contestants taking the ballroom on night one and the female celebrity contestants competing on night two.

The premiere will also feature a double elimination, with one male celebrity contestant going home Tuesday and one female celebrity contestant being eliminated Wednesday.

Viewer votes are combined with judges' scores to determine which couples advance in the competition.

Week 1: Premiere

On night one of the premiere on Sept. 15, Conner Leavitt and pro partner Adele Zaikman were eliminated from the competition after performing a salsa to "Whoomp! (There It Is)" by Tag Team.
