Demi Lovato thanks best friends for helping her through 'darkest moments'

After a rough 2018, Demi Lovato is living her best life and loving ever second.

In a new Instagram post from late Tuesday, the singer thanked her best friends for "never leaving me in my darkest moments."

The singer, who was rushed to the hospital last summer following a suspected overdose, has been posting all year about her resurgence in her personal and professional life.

A grateful Lovato continued, "Thank you for being loyal, honest and so grateful for every little thing ... I’m so lucky to be best friends with two incredible souls who are so talented and creative because it inspires me daily."

The singer and activist explains that her besties are "so supportive of me and every little thing I do."

As always, Lovato kept it real with what she said next.

"You’ve traveled across the country to visit me and stayed with me at my house for days on end when I’m struggling to make sure I’m okay," she added. "But most importantly you never abandoned me like others did when I was going through s---."

She added, "You were there to listen, without judgement and only love and I can never fully express what that means to me. You’re the greatest friends I’ve EVER had and our future together is so bright. I love you both more than you can imagine!!"

She also thanked them for the past week, as the trio vacationed in Bora Bora.

"Just left what’s possibly my favorite place on Earth with my best friends. Bora Bora is literal heaven on Earth," she wrote earlier this week.

Lovato has been spending a lot of time with friends and family the past few months.

After recovering from her suspected overdose last summer, she tweeted late last year, "I am sober and grateful to be alive and taking care of ME."

She later posted amazing photos, spending the holidays with friends and family. She's also recently posted images training and taking care of herself throughout 2019. She also has a new manager in Scooter Braun.

"Couldn’t be happier, inspired and excited to begin this next chapter with you Scooter!!! Thank you for believing in me and for being apart of this new journey. Let’s DO THIS!!!!!!" she wrote this week.
