Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress Elisabeth Moss has added another emotionally and mentally evocative role to her resume with the sci-fi thriller "Invisible Man," and detailed the physical challenges as well as the one thing she would do if she could be invisible.

Moss told "Good Morning America" on Wednesday that the new movie adaptation of the classic novel turned horror film is "not your grandfather's 'Invisible Man.'"

"We put a woman at the center and it's told from the perspective of the victim. It's definitely a very modern, very different 'Invisible Man,'" she said.

Moss said she had to do a number of stunts for the role, which she admitted was "challenging."

"I'm not the most physical person in the world. I'm not a big fan of the gym necessarily," she said laughing. "I like napping."

But she broke out of her comfort zone and into a sweat since the film required multiple fight scenes and intense cardio.

"I had to do a lot of running. There's so much running in horror movies, you're just running all the time. It's a lot," she said. "I was fighting a stunt double -- he was wearing a full green suit head-to-toe which is very interesting to look at and not scary."

Moss, 37, revealed the first thing she would do if she were invisible in real life.

"I would go to Disneyland and just ride the rides for free and not wait in line," she said with a smile.

She also shared some hints about what's ahead for the fourth highly anticipated season of the hit series, "The Handmaid's Tale."

"We start shooting on Monday I'm really, really excited. It's a very big season I can say that we're definitely stretching the limits of what we can do," Moss said.

"And we're pushing ourselves and I'm very excited to show it to everybody."
