The 2026 Oscar nominees are reacting to their historic nods.

Oscar-nominated actress Danielle Brooks and Marvel star Lewis Pullman announced this year's nominees during a live presentation from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles on Jan. 22, with several nominees voicing their excitement in public statements afterward.

The 98th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 15, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The awards will be televised live on ABC and streamed live on Hulu beginning at 7 p.m. ET.

Kate Hudson

Following the nominations announcement on Thursday morning, Kate Hudson reacted to her best actress nod for "Song Sung Blue" on Instagram, where she shared a photo with her mom Goldie Hawn, as well as a video of her immediate reaction.

"What a beautiful morning 🙏☀️," Hudson wrote in the caption.

Delroy Lindo

"Sinners" star Delroy Lindo sat down with "Good Morning America" on Friday following his Oscar nomination for best supporting actor.

"It feels terrific," Lindo said. "I'm still processing, if I'm really honest, but it's wonderful. And part of my response has to do with how positive everybody else's response has been. A lot of support, a lot of love. It feels really good."

Teyana Taylor

In a statement shared with ABC News, "One Battle After Another" star Teyana Taylor called her nomination for best supporting actress a "fairytale ending."

"I fell asleep last night watching Pretty Woman, thinking about happy endings and how impossible they sometimes feel… and I woke up realizing I've been living in one that God has been preparing me for my own fairytale ending. 🥺🥹," she wrote.

She continued, "I am so deeply emotional, so humbled, and so grateful for every person who has walked this road with me & honored to be nominated alongside these amazing women in my category."

She described some of the uncertainty she has faced in her career, addingg that "today feels like a soft, beautiful 'yes' from the universe."

She also went on to thank "One Battle After Another" director Paul Thomas Anderson and the film's cast and crew, among others.

Elle Fanning

Elle Fanning, who scored a best supporting actress nomination for her role in "Sentimental Value," posted to Instagram Thursday morning, sharing her excitement both for her individual achievement and the success of the film.

"IS THIS REAL!?!?!?! IS THIS A DREAM!?!?!?! I can't catch my breath. I am in absolute shock. What an honor to have my first Academy Award nomination be for a film that acknowledges the power of moviemaking and family!" she wrote.

"My Mom, Grandma, Sister, and Aunt were here with me this morning to scream and hug and cry. Thank you thank you thank you," she continued. "To be amongst the beautiful women in this category is truly overwhelming. I was equally overjoyed to see our entire 'Sentimental Value' family recognized!!!!!!"

Fanning also shouted out her co-stars who scored nominations, as well as the film's director, Joachim Trier.

"Sentimental Value" garnered nine total nominations.

EJAE

Singer-songwriter EJAE, who wrote the song "Golden" from "KPop Demon Hunters" and served as the singing voice for lead character Rumi, joined "Good Morning America" to share her reaction to her nomination for best original song and the film's best animated feature film nod.

"It's so weird and eerie to see my name on the screen," she said.

When asked what she would say to her younger self, EJAE added, "I'm so thankful and proud of her."

Diane Warren

Songwriter Diane Warren, who was nominated for best original song for the 17th time, joined "GMA" to discuss her achievement.

When asked if she thought this could be the year she wins, Warren, who has yet to win the category, said, "I'm gonna be really honest with you, that would be great."

"Being nominated by your peers who are the best of the best in film music, whether they're songwriters, composers, music editors -- you've already won," she added.

Rose Byrne

Rose Byrne, who was nominated for best actress for her role in the psychological comedy-drama "If I Had Legs I'd Kick You," called into "GMA3" to share her reaction.

Byrne called the experience "surreal" and said she was "overwhelmed" by the nomination.

"This movie is a tiny movie made from no money, and the fact that people are seeing it and really resonating across the board... it's very specific, but in that way becomes universal, and it's a true piece of art."

"It is an extraordinary movie," she added.

Ethan Hawke

Ethan Hawke, who was nominated for best actor in a leading role for his performance in "Blue Moon," reacted to his nomination in a statement shared with "GMA."

The actor said playing Lorenz Hart in the biographical comedy-drama was "the greatest challenge of my 40-year acting career."

He added, "Thank you to The Academy for recognizing our work, and with it the work of our cast, crew, and the entire company of artists who came together in Ireland to realize BLUE MOON."

Liza Marshall, 'Hamnet' co-producer

The team behind "Hamnet" was in celebration mode following their eight Oscar nominations. Liza Marshall, a co-producer on the project, spoke with "Good Morning America" about the film's best picture nod and said it was all "very exciting" to hear the film's nominations as they were being announced.

"I was watching it with everyone from my office, so about nine of us in the room, everyone was cheering," she said.

Marshall added, "I'm continually amazed by the emotional power of the film, and there's a deep emotional connection that people are finding in the film."
