— -- After a sneak peek last Friday, Universal has released the full trailer for "The Fate of the Furious" -- the upcoming eighth movie in the "Fast and the Furious" franchise.

The trailer gets busy fast, opening with the crew members apparently driving through the wall of some kind of bunker as the bad guys are hot on their tails -- until a one-story-tall wrecking ball wipes out their pursuers.

The rest of the trailer is full of the street racing, massive explosions and over-the-top action that's expected in the franchise, as well as one telling revelation: "Dominic Toretto has turned on us," says Dwayne Johnson's character, Agent Luke Hobbs, referring to ex-con street racer and group leader played by Vin Diesel.

He's apparently teamed up with the movie's villain: high-tech terrorist Cipher, played by franchise newcomer Charlize Theron. However, the overarching feeling is Dom's not working with Cipher by choice.

"The Fate of the Furious," which also stars Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Kurt Russell and Helen Mirren, opens April 14.
