What Model Gigi Hadid Likes Most About Boyfriend Zayn Malik
— -- Gigi Hadid talks about her close relationship with former One Direction singer Zayn Malik, who she has been dating for almost a year.
Besides enjoying "endless" cups of tea, Hadid told ES Magazine, "I’m also getting super into British foods. I’m loving Heinz baked beans in the morning and Z (Zayn) cooks a lot."
In fact, Hadid revealed, "He makes a brilliant curry. Butter chicken is his signature dish."
The prominent American model has been dating the British singer since late last year.
But the thing she likes best about him is not his cooking.
"I would say his brain. For the first time, we are both in a relationship where we have similar interests outside of work and that is really important," she said. "We cook a lot together and do art together and we’re each other’s best friends. We both feel we can talk about anything and learn a lot from each other."
Penguin Random House announced Tuesday that it will publish Malik's autobiography on November 1.
The book, titled "Zayn," promises to share a photographic journey of his life with personal pictures, stories, drawings and more.
"I'm going to show you as much as I can so that you can judge me on my own terms, not on what the press or anyone else says," the singer said in the book.
Zayn, who left One Direction in 2015, released his debut solo album, "Mind of Mine," in March. He's cancelled a couple of performances in London and Dubai in recent months due to what he's described as "extreme anxiety."
