Tributes pour in for 'Good Times' actress Ja'Net DuBois

‘Good Times’ actress Ja’net Dubois dies at 74

Ja'net DuBois, who best known for her role as Willona Woods on "Good Times," died at the age of 74 on Tuesday.

The beloved TV actress was an accomplished singer-songwriter who composed and performed the iconic theme song to "The Jeffersons."

Co-stars, celebrities and fans all paid tribute to her, including a touching Instagram post by Janet Jackson, who played DuBois' adopted daughter Penny on "Good Times."

Viola Davis, who starred in the "Good Times" Live in Front of a Studio Audience ABC special last December shared a sweet photo and memory with DuBois on Twitter.

Tamron Hall remembered DuBois as "the original fly auntie" on Twitter.

"SNL" star Leslie Jones shared a clip from one of her favorite scenes of DuBois and said "you will be missed."

"GMA" co-anchor Robin Roberts remembered watching DuBois with her family and shared a tribute to the actress' life and legacy.

DuBois was awarded the TV Land Impact Icon Award in 2006 for "Good Times" and earned two primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance on "The PJs."

She is survived by her three children Rani DuBois, Yocanne DuBois and Burghardt DuBois.
