— -- Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper have co-stared in several films together, including "American Hustle" and "Silver Linings Playbook" -- and there's apparently a simple secret to their chemistry, on and off-screen.

"No sex," the 24-year-old actress joked at the Cinema Society's New York City premiere of Serena on Saturday, according to People.

"Serena" is now the third film the two have appeared in together.

"I forced him to come onto the movie," Lawrence revealed. "I mean, any male role is going to make me think of Bradley because in my opinion, he's the best, and I love working with him."

The feeling is mutual for Cooper, 40, who told reporters, "I respect her so much as a professional, as an actor, and I think she's the best there is.""And I just learn from her. You always want to work with people that are better than you," he added.

Lawrence said they rarely disagree on anything, including where to go for dinner, declaring, "We're both two of the biggest eaters in Hollywood."

"Serena" is a Depression-era drama that stars Lawrence as the wife of a timber baron, played by Cooper. It opens March 27.

Lawrence and Cooper will also be seen on the big screen together later this year in "Joy," a drama about the woman who invented the Miracle Mop. That film opens Christmas Day.
