JoJo Siwa confirms she and girlfriend Kylie Prew split: 'Right person, wrong time'
After much speculation, JoJo Siwa confirmed she and her girlfriend, Kylie Prew, have split.
Speaking with Paris Hilton on her "This Is Paris" podcast, the "Dancing with the Stars" competitor said, "I have yet to talk about this -- officially, publicly -- but we broke up."
Despite the heartbreak, Siwa assured that there is no bad blood between her and Prew and the two remain on very good terms.
"She is literally still my best friend," the 18-year-old continued. "I talked to her yesterday. She just got a new puppy. She's awesome. She's having the time of her life. I'm having the time of my life."
The Nickelodeon star added that she is "really lucky that I didn't lose her completely," because it showed her "even though relationships end, friendships don't have to end."
While not revealing what exactly caused the breakup, Siwa hinted, "It just is the definition of a cheesy saying of 'right person, wrong time' and I hate cheesy sayings but they're true," and added that her "hectic schedule" didn't pay them any favors.
When touching upon her busy schedule, Siwa revealed that she and her DWTS pro dancing partner, Jenna Johnson, are working hard to redeem themselves after their streak of perfect scores was broken Monday night.
The "Nonstop" singer said she currently has a blister "the size of a quarter" on her heel, among other strains and bruises, but attests she is "having a blast" on the reality competition show.
