Jon Hamm says he is well aware that his euphoric looking dance meme from "Your Friends & Neighbors" has reached shocking heights of virality over the last several months.

In a Thursday morning interview on "Good Morning America," Hamm said the clip, which shows him with his eyes closed, rhythmically swaying his body in a club, was first brought to his attention by news anchor Brian Williams.

"It's the weirdest story ever, because the first person to send me this thing -- and it was probably in December 2025, maybe November -- was Brian Williams," Hamm said.

According to the "Mad Men" alum, it didn't take long before he realized the short clip had reached viral status.

"It was tremendous... and then, two days later, the world started sending me that."

Hamm also discussed his brand-new animated Pixar project "Hoppers," in which he stars alongside Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan, Kathy Najimy, Dave Franco, Eduardo Franco, Aparna Nancherla, Sam Richardson and more.

Hamm plays Mayor Jerry Generazzo in the upcoming film, which centers around a new technology that allows human consciousness to enter robotic animals.

"He's -- let's call him an antagonist at the beginning, but he does go on an emotional journey, and he figures out that maybe the better way to resolve conflict is to listen to the other side rather than just ignore," Hamm said, referring to his character. "Maybe a lot of us could learn from that lesson."

Hamm said he became emotional the first time he saw the film at the premiere.

"I was crying like a 4-year-old at the end of that movie. It works, it's so great," he said.

"Hoppers" stars Bobby Moynihan and Piper Curda also joined "GMA" earlier in the week to discuss the film, which hits theaters March 6.

A summary of the film reads, "What if you could talk to animals and understand what they’re saying? In Disney and Pixar's all-new feature film 'Hoppers,' scientists have discovered how to 'hop' human consciousness into lifelike robotic animals, allowing people to communicate with animals as animals!"

Hamm closed his interview on Thursday by discussing his recent experience hosting the NFL Honors, the NFL's end-of-season award show.

"I love the NFL. I played football as a young man. It's really fun. And to celebrate the guys, only one team can win the Super Bowl, but a lot of those boys deserve flowers, so I love giving them out," he said.

Disney is the parent company of Pixar, ABC News and "Good Morning America."
