— -- Ending months of speculation, reality-TV star Khloe Kardashian has confirmed she's pregnant with her first child.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star is expecting a baby with NBA player Tristan Thompson, she wrote on Instagram.

This will be the second child for Thompson, whose son from a previous relationship just turned 1.

"My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along. He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient. I still at times can't believe that our love created life!" she gushed on social media. "Tristan, thank you for loving me the way that you do! Thank you for treating me like a Queen! Thank you for making me feel beautiful at all stages! Tristan, most of all, Thank you for making me a MOMMY!!! You have made this experience even more magical than I could have envisioned! I will never forget how wonderful you've been to me during this time! Thank you for making me so happy my love!"

Us Weekly first reported the pregnancy in September, just days after unconfirmed news broke that Kardashian's half-sister, Kylie Jenner, was expecting a baby with rapper Travis Scott.

Kardashian, 33, wrote that she and Thompson, 26, wanted to keep the news private for as long as they could.

"Thank you to everyone for the love and positive vibes! I know we've been keeping this quiet but we wanted to enjoy this between our family and close friends as long as we could privately," she wrote. "To enjoy our first precious moments just us ?? Thank you all for understanding. I am so thankful, excited, nervous, eager, overjoyed and scared all in one! But it's the best bundle of feelings I've ever felt in my life!"

The couple was first linked last year. And in an interview with the Evening Standard magazine in April 2017, Kardashian gushed that she has "never been in this type of love" and would "love to have a family" with the Cleveland Cavaliers player.

"He [already] is a father, and I know for a fact that he would be an impeccable father," she said, referring to Thompson's son with ex Jordan Craig.

"I definitely want to be a mom. But I don’t put the pressure on it. It’s not like, 'The clock is ticking,'" she continued. "I feel in my soul it will happen."
