Kirk Douglas Through the Years

Iconic actor and Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas's career has spanned decades leaving an indelible mark on the film industry and beyond. The star of classic movies ranging from "Spartacus" to "Lust for Life," Douglas won an Academy Award for lifetime achievement. He also received of the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the National Medal of Arts, as well numerous other accolades along the way. No stranger to controversy, Douglas played a key role in dissolving the so-called 'Hollywood blacklist' during the McCarthy era in the 1950s, and continues to remain active in humanitarian causes.
