— -- Days after being found unconscious in a legal Nevada brothel, Lamar Odom has opened his eyes and made a brief utterance, according to a representative for the family.

It's not clear what the former NBA star uttered, but he's been unresponsive since being found at the Love Ranch in Crystal, Nev. on Tuesday.

His condition was also not clear and it was not clear how long his eyes were open for.

Odom had been at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas since being sent there for treatment earlier in the week.

When rescuers arrived at the Love Ranch, the 35-year-old was "unconscious but breathing," Sheriff Sharon Wehrly said during a presser on Wednesday. Police also said that a worker at the legalized brothel claimed to 911 dispatchers that the former basketball player had been using cocaine and sexual enhancement drugs in the days before the incident.

Officials from the Nye County Sheriff's Office added during that press conference that Odom's blood had been taken by investigators and was being processed. It was not clear which sexual enhancement drugs the caller was referring to.

After the incident, Odom first received treatment at Pahrump's Desert View Hospital, then was transferred to Sunrise Hospital, where Rev. Jesse Jackson said earlier in the week, his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian has been by his side.

Kardashian married Odom in 2009, but filed for divorce four years later. Both parties signed the divorce papers earlier this year. Kardashian, along with her sisters, posted to their respective websites late Thursday a message that read, "As a family we've decided to hold off on publishing content across our apps while we continue to support and pray for Lamar. Thank you for your kindness and understanding during this difficult time."

Meanwhile, Odom's aunt JaNean Mercer said, "No words can express the overwhelming gratitude we feel for the outpouring of support from around the world. Please continue to keep in your prayers, our family and Lamar, whom we deeply love, admire and cherish. His complete healing is paramount and our primary focus. Please respect our privacy as we continue to lean on GOD and trust in Him during this extremely difficult time."

Others like Kris Jenner and Rob Kardashian have voiced their prayers for the 2-time NBA champion.

"Please pray for Lamar #ourfighter," Kris Jenner wrote on Instagram Wednesday night, while Rob wrote, "Praying nonstop for my Brother !!"
