Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick hold 'QuaraNSYNC' reunion

Is there an NSYNC reunion in the works? Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick sparked rumors by gathering together for a group photo with a hashtag that teased fans.

The mini-reunion happened Thursday, when all three shared their photo, which shows them hamming it up for the camera. The trio wore face shields and goggles for the snap.

While it is unknown why the "It's Gonna Be Me" singers were gathered together under one roof, they hinted that something may be up by synchronizing their captions using the hashtag: "#QuaraNSYNC."

Fans were sent into a frenzy and begged Bass, Fatone and Kirkpatrick for answers.

Others also brought up whether or not former bandmates Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez were somehow involved.

NSYNC broke into the pop scene in 1995 and went on hiatus in 2002. During their active years, the band sold more than 70 million records, snagged eight Grammy nominations and was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
