Liam Hemsworth Has No Regrets About His Engagement to Miley Cyrus
— -- These days Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus couldn't seem more different, but it wasn't so long ago that the pair were engaged.
Two years after calling off the engagement, Hemsworth told Men's Fitness that he has no regrets about his relationship with Cyrus, including popping the question.
"You fall in love with who you fall in love with; you can never choose," he says in the magazine's November issue. "I guess some people just come with a little more baggage."
"It wasn’t just a fling," he continues. "It really was an important part of my life and always will be."
The "Hunger Games" star, 25, only had kind words about his ex.
"She's a free spirit who wants to do what she wants to do," he says.
Hemsworth and Cyrus met in 2009 on the set of the film "The Last Song," and got engaged in the summer of 2012. By September 2013, the couple had called off their engagement.
