Romantic comedy lovers, rejoice! There's a new version of "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" coming.

The 2003 film, starring Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey, will be adapted into a television series under Paramount Television and Quibi.

"The Mindy Project" writer and entertainer Guy Branum shared the exciting news on Twitter on Thursday.

"We were all certain you could not make a good romantic comedy anymore because print media is dead and RomCom ladies have to work at magazines, but against the tides of history, Quibi & Paramount have agreed to let me re-write 'How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days,'" he wrote.

The new project “follows a glib young online columnist and an oversexed advertising executive who both need to prove, once and for all, they’re capable of being monogamous. They soon discover, however, keeping a relationship is harder than Andie Anderson made it look!” Quibi’s official synopsis says, according to TVLine.

The original featured Hudson's character, Andie Anderson, as a magazine columnist who devised a plan to to dupe a man, Ben Berry, played by McConaughey, into leaving her in 10 days.

Like any other good old-fashioned rom-com, the two end up falling for each other.
