Mark Consuelos wishes Kelly Ripa happy 49th birthday with amazing throwbacks
Kelly Ripa rang in her 49th birthday Wednesday, and for her special day, the morning host's husband of 23 years, actor Mark Consuelos, shared a loving post featuring several throwbacks from her childhood as well as some couple shots of them.
"Happy Birthday to my Fave," he wrote in the caption.
"I'm really glad you were born.. Because let's face it, if you weren't, I would've been married 3 or 4 times by now," he joked. "Which would've been really expensive, not to mention the super tense parent teacher conferences and all the awkward blended family holiday/vacations."
"Anyway, happy birthday sweetie," he added.
He also surprised his wife with a cake during "Live with Kelly and Ryan." Check out a video of the fun moment.
Ripa's co-host, Ryan Seacrest, also pulled out all the stops to ensure it was a special day for her, decorating her dressing room with balloons.
"No one told me it was my final birthday," she jokes in the video upon seeing the surprise.
