Mark Wahlberg is showing off his new body transformation.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the 49-year-old actor debuted his radical transformation and compared it to a snap he took three weeks ago to show just how much has changed.

"From this 3 weeks ago, to this, now," Wahlberg declared in the caption. "Thanks to @chef_lawrence_d cooking."

Wahlberg previously revealed he has to gain 40 pounds for an upcoming movie role, saying he's already put on half of his goal weight.

The actor shared last month on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" that he will be starring in the faith-based drama "Stu," which will be directed by Rosalind Ross.

"I'm playing a guy who was a fighter...he was many things," he explained in the April 8 taping of the show. "He was a fighter, he moved to L.A. to become an actor, he fell in love with a girl, he kind of had an accident, he had an outer-body spiritual experience, he decided to become a priest.... it's quite the story and quite the journey."

"After we do the boxing scenes, I get to put on as much weight as possible over the course of the film, so I'm challenging myself to put on 30 pounds in the next six weeks," he continued.

"They want me to do it as healthy as possible, and I'm like, 'Dude, I've been on such a regimen for so long, I just want to eat everything in sight,'" he added. "I want to go to bakeries. I want to go to Denny's, I want to get pancakes, I want to get everything that I can possibly get my hands on."
