Three celebrity homes were broken into over the weekend while the homeowners were away at public events.

The incidents are the latest in a string of break-ins that authorities say have been targeting high-profile figures and professional athletes.

NFL star Shedeur Sanders' home broken into

As Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders made his NFL debut on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, there was a break-in at his home, Pro Football Talk first reported and ESPN confirmed.

Sanders spoke out for the first time on Wednesday about the incident.

"I know this is a trending topic that my house got broken into, but like, I'm in a mental space now to where, you know, it's not too much can phase me," he said. "And none of my jewelry got took anyway. So by the way, none of jewelry got took."

The Medina County Sheriff's Office confirmed to ABC News that during the 12-minute spree, the three suspects were seen on surveillance footage "ransacking [Sanders'] bedside nightstands, closet and also overturned the pillows on the bed."

According to police, the suspects left the home with over $200,000 worth of bags and other items.

Officials said Sanders' home was hit about 45 minutes after he went into Sunday's game.

"At approximately 6:46 pm three suspects entered the residence of [Sanders]," the sheriff's office said in a statement earlier this week. "Surveillance cameras in the residence were able to capture video footage of the suspects as they entered and exited different portions of the home."

"The suspects were wearing masks and gloves and can be seen exiting the residence at approximately 6:58 pm with various property belonging to Mr. Sanders," authorities added. "It is estimated that approximately $200,000 in property was stolen."

Medina County Sheriff's Captain Eric Bors said the incident "seemed very calculated."

Bors told ABC Cleveland station WEWS that the rear door of Sanders' home was unsecured and gave the suspects easy access, which he called "an unfortunate oversight."

"He had a football game that day. Obviously, we're seeing this happen to other pro athletes throughout the country. So it appears that some of these individuals are tracking when these these men are at a game and watching the house and knowing they're not there," Bors added.

The incident is under investigation with the Medina County Sheriff's Office.

Sanders replaced starter Dillion Gabriel in the second half of the game at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland on Sunday, taking his first official snaps on the gridiron of his professional career.

Other professional athletes including NBA star Luka Doncic, NFL quarterbacks Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes, and Mahomes' Kansas City Chiefs teammate, tight end Travis Kelce, have all previously reported break-ins.

'Real Housewives' stars' homes broken into in Los Angeles

On Saturday, two reality stars from the popular "Real Housewives" franchise reportedly fell victim to burglaries as well.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to ABC News that two Bel Air residences, believed to belong to "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" stars Sutton Stracke and Kathy Hilton, were broken into Saturday, and that they are still investigating.

Both were attending the highly publicized BravoCon event in Las Vegas over the weekend.

The first incident occurred around 11:54 a.m., according to the LAPD, at a home believed to be Stracke's.

Officers responded to a radio call for an open door. The suspects were gone by the time police arrived, police said, and a burglary report was filed. Stracke told ABC News the suspects stole all of her luxury handbags and fine jewelry, and that she is fully cooperating with authorities.

A representative for Stracke said that thieves made off with millions of dollars worth of items from her home.

Later, around 11:48 p.m., another burglary was reported at Hilton's home. The suspects fled before officers arrived, and there is no suspect description, police said.

Representatives for Hilton told People that "everyone is fine."

LAPD officials said that as with previous celebrity burglary cases, law enforcement sources stress that stars should maintain 24/7 armed security because agencies often can't respond fast enough to prevent burglars from entering their homes.
