Nickelodeon announces 'All That' revival with Kenan Thompson as executive producer
It's been 14 years since the all-teen sketch comedy show "All That" signed off for the last time -- but thanks to one of the original cast members, Kenan Thompson, they're all back!
That's right, the hit Nickelodeon series is making its return this summer with Thompson serving as the show's executive producer, Variety reported on Thursday.
The "Saturday Night Live" star who got his start in TV on “All That,” which first launched in 1994, will be joined by Kevin Kay.
According to Variety, there will be an all-new cast as well as some familiar faces from the show's original 10-season heyday.
The shows original cast included Lori Beth Denberg, Amanda Bynes, Kel Mitchell, Danny Tamberelli, Nick Cannon, Josh Server and many others.
Additionally, comedian Jermaine Fowler will consult on the series, Variety reported.
Nickelodeon has also announced its plans to bring back "Are You Afraid of the Dark" and a “SpongeBob SquarePants” spinoff.
“All That” is not the first hit '90s Nickelodeon series to make a return.
"Hey Arnold!", "Rocko's Modern Life", "Invader Zim", "Double Dare" and "Rugrats" have all been given a second life.
