— -- Prince saw a doctor the day before he died, according to a new search warrant connected to the singer's death probe.

The search warrant, which was obtained by ABC Minneapolis affiliate KSTP, indicates that Dr. Michael Todd Schulemberg was at the singer's Paisley Park estate on April 21, the day Prince was found unconscious, because he was delivering the results of medical tests.

Schulemberg, a physician at North Memorial Medical Center's clinic in Minnetonka, Minnesota, had seen Prince on April 7 and 20, and had written prescriptions for the singer, which were to be filled at Walgreens, according to the search warrant.

Authorities were looking for any and all of Prince's medical records from North Memorial Medical Center, and any legal records attached to those files, according to the search warrant.

Prince's Death: What We Know So Far

Investigators were back at Prince's home this afternoon, though no additional information was available. However, a law enforcement source told ABC News that DEA agents are among the authorities present.

A cause of death has not yet been announced for the performer, though an autopsy was completed shortly after his death. Toxicology results are expected in the coming weeks.

The day before he died, Prince's representatives reached out to California opioid addiction specialist Dr. Howard Kornfeld, according to the doctor's attorney, William Mauzy. Mauzy added that Kornfeld sent his son, Andrew, to meet with the singer, who, along with two staffers, found Prince unconscious in his elevator.

Not long after, he was pronounced dead at the age of 57.
