— -- Teresa Giudice spends much of her time in prison praying and taking care of her body and mind, according to her lawyer.

The "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star has adjusted to life behind bars as she serves a 15-month sentence for fraud at a prison in Danbury, Conn.

"As far as prison goes, she's maintaining. She's adjusted well, she has a routine and she just takes it one day at a time," James L. Leonard told E! News. "She's spending more time outside. There is a track so she's been walking and running on the track a lot."

Giudice, 43, has also been receiving visits from her husband Joe and their four daughters. Upon her release, Joe will begin his three-year sentence. However, for now, the reality TV star has been "taking care of her body [and]... her mind," her lawyer said.

"I think she's going to emerge stronger, more focused. She's getting back in touch with her faith. She's spending a lot of time praying in there and I think the Teresa that comes out of prison is going to wow people," he said. "She's making sure her family's looked after. She's re-prioritizing things in her life."
