— -- Selena Gomez has vowed she’s done talking about Justin Bieber, but it seems she just can’t escape questions about her ex-boyfriend. In a new cover story for W magazine, Gomez opens up about the media scrutiny surrounding their former relationship.

“At first I didn’t care,” she said. “To me it was: I’m 18, I have a boyfriend, we look cute together, we like that. Then I got my heart broken and I cared. Because people had no idea what was going on, but everywhere it was a million different things.

“I was kind of in a corner, banging my head against the wall. I didn’t know where to go.”

Now, she says despite Bieber’s pleas of forgiveness on his album "Purpose," she’s completely over it.

“I’m so exhausted,” she said. “I honestly am so done. I care about his health and well-being. But I can’t do it anymore.”

Gomez, 23, also opened up about past rumors she and Miley Cyrus once had a feud.

“We never feuded,” she says. “We both liked the same guy when we were 16. It was just a Hilary Duff-Lindsay Lohan thing: ‘Oh, my God, we like the same boy!’ We are now completely settled in our own lives.”

No word on who that boy was, but when she referenced Duff and Lohan, they both infamously dated Aaron Carter.

“Every single girl has done it completely differently,” Gomez explained of breaking out of the child-star mold. “Obviously, [Cyrus] wouldn’t want to be doing what I’m doing, and I wouldn’t want to be doing what she’s doing.

“But I’m a fan of her music; I don’t know if she’d say that about me.”
