As such, Aerosmith won't be playing the Vegas dates scheduled for June and July while Tyler "focuses on his well-being."

"We are devastated that we have inconvenienced so many of you, especially our most loyal fans who often travel great distances to experience our shows," the statement read. "Thank you for your understanding and for your support for Steven during this time."

Those who purchased tickets to the affected shows will receive refunds.

Aerosmith plans to resume the residency in September.
