TV fans know that the 2019 Emmys are Sunday, but when and how to tune in can be tough to remember.

The ceremony will be broadcast from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles live on Fox beginning at 8 p.m. ET.

However, first, there will be two pre-shows: E!'s "Live From the Red Carpet" kicks off at 6 p.m. ET, and Fox's pre-show begins at 6:30 p.m., with arrivals starting at 7 p.m. ET. E! will also have a "Countdown to the Red Carpet" special that starts at 4:30 p.m. ET.

While the show will not have a host, many of TV's biggest stars will be in attendance.

"Game of Thrones," which ended its eight-year run earlier this year, earned a record-breaking 32 nominations, and has nominees in all the major acting categories, including Emilia Clarke for best actress in a drama series and Kit Harington for best actor.

Another HBO series that just wrapped up its run, "Veep," will be up for several awards, including nods for best comedy, best supporting actress (Anna Chlumsky), and best supporting actor (Tony Hale). But the big news is its star, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, could make history as the winningest performer in Emmy history, should she take home her ninth award.

"Orange Is the New Black" actress Laverne Cox is also poised to make history. She could become the first trans actress to win an Emmy should she earn the award for best guest actress in a drama series.
