Hot New Music: Kanye West, Christina Aguilera, Alejandro Sanz and More!

Sept. 20, 2012— -- Just like fall signals the beginning of awards season in Hollywood, record labels have saved the best for last. Just ask Daddy Yankee, who released his long-anticipated album, Prestige last week, and is already No. 1 on the Billboard Latin charts. So every week until the end of the year, we'll be bringing you the best of what's around in music.

Tell us what you're listening to!

Alejandro Sanz, "Se Vende"The official second single off his new album La Música No Se Toca (out next week) signals a return to vintage Alejandrito (just as the first single, "No Me Compares" did), proving that no matter how much these younger cats dilute their sound, Sanz is no sell-out.

Draco feat. Maná, "Penélope"On this, the first taste of his forthcoming album, fittingly titled Vida, Draco proves he's nowhere near giving up, on life or his first love, music, despite having been through cancer and back. On the new album, Draco revisits his own hits with duets with the likes of Calle 13, Marc Anthony, Shakira and even old pal Ricky Martin. The original "Penélope" was just fine without Maná's Fher, but it's still good to hear Draco in top form.

Various, Kanye West Presents: Good Music Cruel SummerThe album everyone's been talking about for months (and Kanye and G.O.O.D. co. have been teasing) is finally here and it's got the right dose of hard and soft (don't think we can't hear you among all those rappers, John Legend, because we can!), and 90s-era pop-ups (hi, Ma$e!), to fill us up. Is it weird to say that Pusha T is the Iron Man of this Avengers-type compilation? We miss him when he's not around. In fact, we think it's a sin his Drake diss "Exodus 23:1" didn't make the final track list.

That's that ish we don't like!

Christina Aguilera, "Your Body"At the ALMA Awards red carpet last Sunday, where Xtina was honored with a special achievement award, the diva told us her new album, Lotus, is "a breath of fresh air, kind of coming back, and feeling in my own skin again as an artist." If this first single is any indication, she's coming for her rightful spot at the top of the charts. Can November 13 come any sooner?

Jose James, "Trouble"Talk about smooth! This 30-year-old singer/songwriter's jazzy ways are on full display on his new EP, a prelude to his Blue Note Records debut (due January 22, 2013).

Nelly Furtado, The Spirit IndestructibleThe album Nelly talked to us about recently has finally arrived! It's closer to her debut album Whoa, Nelly! and her sophomore album Folklore than anything she did with Timbaland – which, depending on when you fell in love with her, will either be a good thing or a not-so-exciting thing. Here, it's the more obscure songs that stand out the most, like "Something" guesting Nas, and "Believers (Arab Spring)."

P!nk, The Truth About LoveHer latest album is exactly what you expect it to be – pop that's safe enough for the airwaves and edgy enough for us, whether we're stuck in traffic, trying to run that last mile on the treadmill, or getting ready for a night out on town. Nothing more, nothing less.

Natalia LaFourcade Mujer DivinaThe Mexican singer-songwriter is back with an Agustín Lara tribute album of duets with male artists who praise women- León from Zoé, Gilberto Gil, Jorge Drexler, Devendra Benhart. Swoon!
