She was in shock for a moment, but once that wore off all Melin Jones could do was laugh.

Because really, what else are you going to do when your two-year-old's birthday cake reads "Happy Birthday Loser"?

Little Elizabeth Jones, goes by the nickname Liz. The family who loves her calls her "Lizard." And that was the confusion when it came to the cake the Bonne Terre, Missouri mom ordered from a local Walmart.

"I asked the lady behind the counter if she could write 'Happy Birthday Lizard' on it. She said 'sure,' grabbed the cake and a few minutes later gave it back. I did not look at it when she gave it back. No real reason, I was kind of in a hurry and I guess I just thought there would be no problems with something so simple," Jones told "Good Morning America."

Jones said that though her mom was highly offended, she "always thought it was funny."

She said that she didn't want anyone at the Walmart to get in trouble, and knew it was a simple miscommunication so she let the incident go.

"I was a little speechless at first but I died laughing after the shock went off," she told "GMA."

As for little Liz, she's too young to know what the cake said or really even understand it was her birthday, Jones said. And she did get a new cake, one that said "Happy Birthday Elizabeth."

Jones is sure that when Liz gets older, she'll appreciate the comical mistake.

"I think Liz will find it hilarious," she said.
