Pop the champagne and sip the official cocktail of the Golden Globes
As awards season kicks off with the Golden Globes on Sunday, fans can get a taste of the film and television festivities with the official cocktail of the star-studded event.
In honor of 30 years as the official champagne of the Golden Globes, Moët & Chandon has partnered with Cocktail Courier to offer a limited-edition kit to build the Moet Golden Fizz.
"A longstanding tradition, Moet & Chandon is proud to celebrate this anniversary milestone with the Golden Globes, toasting to the leading filmmakers and brightest stars during the 78th Annual Awards ceremony," the French winery said in a statement.
Whether you get the ingredients yourself or opt for a pre-curated kit that serves six and includes a bottle of Moet & Chandon Imperial Brut, specialty gold glassware and fresh seasonal ingredients, here's everything you need to create and sip the perfect champagne cocktail while viewing the Golden Globes at home.
The Moet Golden Fizz
Ingredients
4 ounces Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial
2 ounces ginger turmeric tea
1/2 ounce honey syrup
1/2 ounce lemon juice
4 drops cardamom bitters
Garnish: dehydrated lemon wheel
Directions
Build in a wine glass, add ice and gently stir ingredients with bar spoon. Top with floater of champagne. Garnish with dehydrated lemon wheel.
