Starbucks launches fall-themed Snoopy cup, Peanuts collection
Snoopy fans, it's time!
Starbucks is launching a fall-themed Snoopy glass cup, as well as a Peanuts collection inspired by the beloved cartoon's “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” program, ahead of the episode's 60th anniversary in October.
The 20-ounce glass cold cup features Snoopy sporting a signature Starbucks green scarf and an orange beanie hat, reminiscent of the pumpkin, and comes complete with a striped green-and-white straw topped by a Woodstock cover. The Snoopy glass cups are limited to two units per customer and retail for $39.95.
Starbucks' new Peanuts collection will be available while supplies last and features 10 items, from other drinkware and accessories, like a mini tote bag and bag charm to a plush Snoopy toy dressed in a green apron, just like a Starbucks barista.
The collection will be available worldwide, including in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
The Peanuts collection is expected to be highly coveted by fans and collectors, as was Starbucks' summer release of the "Bearista" cups.
In addition to the exclusive merchandise, the coffee chain is also introducing a not-so-secret "Peanuts"-themed menu, featuring the Charlie Brown Mocha Frappuccino blended beverage and a Snoopy Cookie Frappuccino blended beverage.
Charlie Brown's beverage combines mocha with pumpkin spice flavors and pumpkin spice cold foam, while Snoopy's drink is a vanilla bean and white mocha base that's finished with pumpkin spice cold foam and crunchy cookie crumbles.
