The first holiday sips of the season will hit the menu at Starbucks on Thursday.

The Seattle-based coffee company announced Wednesday the return of familiar favorites -- such as the peppermint mocha -- along with the debut of its first non-dairy iced holiday coffee beverage, an iced sugar cookie almond milk latte.

The beverage will be available both hot and iced and was inspired by freshly baked holiday cookies, made with sugar cookie-flavored syrup, Starbucks Blonde Espresso, ice and almond milk, topped with red and green sprinkles.

In addition to those beverages, the caramel brulée latte, chestnut praline latte and toasted white chocolate mocha will return, along with Irish cream cold brew hitting the menu earlier than ever.

Each seasonal drink will be served in one of four new gift-inspired holiday cup designs created for this year's campaign by Starbucks associate creative director Suzie Reecer and team.

The colors include classic shades of red, green and white with hints of frosty lilac and a little gift tag on the back of each cup to create room for a cheerful message.

"This holiday, we wanted it to feel magical, we wanted it to be warm, and we wanted it to be inclusive," Reecer said. "Our goal was to really bring joy to every customer and every partner."

Wrapping Paper: A perfectly wrapped gift was the inspiration for this design, featuring a colorful geometric pattern of circles, sparkles and glitter grain in the season’s signature shades.

Ribbon: This design evokes a familiar moment of the season, with pieces of ribbon in white and iridescent lilac playfully dancing against a red field of sparkles, like when you’ve just finished wrapping up gifts for friends and family.

Holiday Lights: This cup design is like the stars on a clear winter’s night, sparkling holiday lights peek out amid a swirl of ribbons and a jumble of bold, graphic letters that spell out “Starbucks.”

Candy Cane: A design that looks as delicious as a peppermint mocha, inspired by a candy cane with candy stripes of green, white and lilac.

The bakery case will also include festive treats such as the new reindeer cake pop with a red button nose, a sugar plum and cream cheese danish, cranberry bliss bars and snowman iced cookies.
