— -- The Chicago Cubs may not have home field advantage tonight against the Pittsburgh Pirates in their National League Wild Card game, but they do have the backing of a classic Hollywood film.

In the 1989 film "Back to the Future Part II," Marty McFly, played by Michael J. Fox, travels 30 years into the future when the fictitious "USA Today" headline is "Cubs Sweep Series in 5" against Miami on Oct. 22, 2015.

A screen grab from the movie "Back to The Future Part II".

But Chicago Cubs fans can hope and dream. After all, they haven't won a World Series since 1908.

Anthony Rizzo #44 of the Chicago Cubs celebrates in the dugout after reaching on a double hit by Starlin Castro in the seventh inning against the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park on October 02, 2015 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

There are a number of predictions that the movie did score correctly. Pepsi actually is releasing a "Pepsi perfect" product on Oct. 21, with a tie-in to the film.
