14-year-old killed by stray bullet while playing video games inside home: Police
A 14-year-old boy in Missouri was shot and killed by a stray bullet while playing video games inside his home, with officials still searching for the potential suspects, according to the St. Louis County Police Department and his family.
At approximately 6:10 p.m. on Oct. 8, officials responded to reports of a shooting, and found a "teenage male who had been shot at least once," police said in a statement to ABC News on Tuesday.
The teen -- who was identified as Duwan Morgan -- succumbed to his injuries at the scene, police said.

The bullet allegedly went through the window of Morgan's room, his aunt told ABC News. Morgan's mother, who was home at the time of her son's death, ran upstairs to his room after hearing the shots, his aunt said.
The boy died in his mother's arms, according to his aunt, Erica Davis.
"No mother should ever have to face such a horrible tragedy," Davis told ABC News on Tuesday.
The preliminary investigation revealed that "an unknown subject or subjects fired shots in the area, and the victim was struck," police said.
Police said there have not been any arrests made in connection to the shooting.
Morgan's family described the incident as a "senseless shootout" and that his death as left an "indescribable void in our lives."

"Duwan was a vibrant, caring young man with a bright future ahead of him," his family said in a GoFundMe page.
Davis said her nephew had a "bright future ahead of him" and wanted to go to college to "pursue a career in music and radio/podcasting." She said Morgan's mother "cries every night."
"She is barely eating. It's a nightmare," Davis told ABC News. "Nothing is ever worth you taking someone's life."
Officials said the investigation remains active and anyone with information on the shooting should contact police at 636-529-8210.
"Additional information will be disseminated as it becomes available," police said.
