3 missing California boys found safe after overnight search: Sheriff

Three missing young boys who were reported missing in California have been found after an overnight search, according to authorities.

The children, two aged 12 and one 11, were all found on Tuesday after being reported missing on Monday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

The trio had initially disappeared on West Cypress Street in San Dimas after getting off a Metro Rail station in Pomona, according to a LASD Tweet.

Jake Belvin, 12, Kenneth Jones lll, 11, and Zackarie Vega, 12, were all found Tuesday after they went missing Monday. The three boys were last seen getting off a Metro Rail station in Pomona.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department

A press release from LASD called the boys "at-risk."

"There is concern for their well-being and we are asking for the public’s help," the press release said when they went missing.

"Thank you to the public, the media, and deputy personnel for their tireless efforts in the search for the three boys," the press release added.
