Accident Video Shows Bus Driver Hurtling Through Windshield

— -- Newly-released video shows the harrowing moments after a pickup truck crashed into a bus in New Mexico – an accident that sent the bus driver hurtling through the windshield.

The accident happened Friday, Jan. 2, in Albuquerque.

ABC affiliate KOAT acquired the video, which shows the accident from multiple angles.

The truck driver ran a red light, police told KOAT.

Cameras inside the bus show the driver struggling to steer following the crash, and later flying over the steering wheel after the bus collided with a sign post.

Both drivers reportedly received minor injuries, KOAT reports.
