'Jersey Shore' Cast Among Barbara Walters' 'Most Fascinating People of 2010'

Nov. 29, 2010— -- The cast of MTV's hit reality show "The Jersey Shore," teen dream Justin Bieber, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the newest American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez, and comeback queen Betty White are among Barbara Walters' "10 Most Fascinating People of 2010."

"We have quite an eclectic list this year, but every subject has truly fascinated and entertained us this year," Barbara Walters said.

Future British Princess Kate Middleton, Academy Award winner Sandra Bullock and NBA star LeBron James also made this year's list. The No. 1 most-fascinating person will be announced on the ABC special, which airs Thursday, Dec. 9 at 10 p.m. ET.

In the 18th season of the special, Walters gets up close and personal with Betty White, the 88-year-old actress who has gained newfound cult icon status. The comedienne talks about her successful year and her sex life. When asked by Walters if "at 88 and three quarters... does one still have sex?" White exclaims, "If one gets lucky!"

Walters also sits down with Sarah Palin, who is the only person to make the list three consecutive years in a row. In the interview, Palin addresses rumors of marital problems, telling Walters, "There's a lot of BS out there."

"There's also rumors that Trig isn't my son. There's also rumors that Track went to Iraq to avoid jail. There is a lot of BS out there. I don't want to just believe that it comes with the territory, when you put yourself forward, in the name of public service, that you have to take that kind of garbage that's out there," Palin said. "There are constant rumors out there about us. I saw on the cover of a tabloid, that we were getting a $20 million divorce. I was in the grocery checkout line when I saw it and I called Todd and said, 'I can't believe the cover of this magazine! This is what it says.' And Todd says, '20 million bucks? Write me a check.'"

During Walters' interview with the cast of "The Jersey Shore," newfound reality stars give Walters a lesson in "GTL" -- gym-tan-laundry -- "Grenades," and "Smooshing."

"I need a lesson. Okay, because you have your own language. So you gotta help me, 'GTL,'" Walters told the rowdy cast during the interview.

When asked what they were going to do with their newly-earned money, Jenni "JWOWW" Farley revealed that she and co-star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, plan to buy a house together after Snooki pays off her mother's mortgage. To the cast's surprise, they are house hunting in Long Island, N.Y. -- not New Jersey.
