Cheetah Shocks Tourist by Jumping Into Jeep's Backseat

— -- When you go on a safari in Africa, you’re hoping for close encounters with animals -- but probably not this close.

Irish tourist, Mickey McCaldin, got the shock of a lifetime when a daring cheetah jumped into the backseat of their jeep at the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.

He was completely freaked out sitting face-to-face with the wild animal who had sauntered over to give him a quick sniff.

McCaldin’s friend, David Horsey, caught the scary standoff on camera.

Needless to say, the Irishman got a bit more than he had bargained for on this trip.
