— -- For one dad and daughter do-gooder duo, their 32 and 7th birthdays will be ones they'll never forget.

Lee Beck and his daughter Amelie of Oxford, England decided they'd spend the two weeks surrounding both their May birthdays doing random acts of kindness -- 39 in total. Beck posted a video of the acts to YouTube last week.

He told ABC News that his daughter "regularly remarks about kindness, and is generally very loving, so I knew she would be keen to do this challenge. When I mentioned the idea to her she thought it was a great idea, and instantly starting talking about some of the people we could help. Her ideas were fantastic, and she put a lot of thought into those that she felt happiest about."

The 39 acts included such small things as writing a letter to a restaurant manager to compliment their server to leaving a $20 Toys R US gift card in the mail box of someone they thought might need it to leaving a bowl full of pennies at their favorite wishing spot. That one, Lee said, ranked in the top 5.

"We sat across the river and watched as people passed by and made wishes," he said.

Some other highlights, he said, were putting flowers on the war memorial for VE Day; taking art and craft materials to the Oxford Children’s Hospital and delivering thank-you notes to the fire and police stations.

Beck also became an organ donor.

He said he hopes anyone who sees the video will be inspired to do just one random act of kindness themselves.

"We are happy that we were able to meet so many people, learn about various charities, not-for-profit organisations and have some fun along the way! Words can't describe how proud I am of her for being so enthusiastic about this.

"It has been a very emotional time as we have learned about various causes, and we have a lot of memories to take away from it all. We will certainly be doing some kind acts next year."
