Disney and YouTube TV reach deal that restores ABC, ESPN and other programming to streaming platform
The Walt Disney Company and YouTube TV have reached a multi-year distribution agreement that will restore ABC, ESPN and other Disney networks and stations to the streaming platform.
Disney programming has started to be restored to YouTube TV subscribers, the companies said Friday night in announcing the deal.
The agreement also includes access to ESPN's new direct-to-consumer offering and the ability to include the Disney+, Hulu Bundle as part of select YouTube offerings, Disney said.
“This new agreement reflects our continued commitment to delivering exceptional entertainment and evolving with how audiences choose to watch," Disney Entertainment Co-Chairmen Alan Bergman and Dana Walden and ESPN Chairman Jimmy Pitaro said in a statement. "It recognizes the tremendous value of Disney's programming and provides YouTube TV subscribers with more flexibility and choice."

"We are pleased that our networks have been restored in time for fans to enjoy the many great programming options this weekend, including college football," they added.
YouTube TV said on X it is "happy to share that we’ve reached a deal with Disney to bring their content back to YouTube TV."
The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of ABC News.
