— -- Donald Trump won South Carolina's Republican primary handily Saturday, capturing 33.5 percent of the vote with 100 percent of precincts reporting.

The business mogul thanked his South Carolina supporters, his volunteers and his family in his victory speech. He was joined on stage at his campaign rally in Spartanburg, South Carolina, with his family as the crowd chanted “USA.”

“There is nothing easy about running for president, I can tell you. It’s tough, it’s nasty, it’s mean, it’s vicious. It’s beautiful. When you win it’s beautiful," he said.

Trump also congratulated his Republican rivals but did not mention former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who announced Saturday he was suspending his campaign after finishing fourth in the South Carolina.

“I want to also congratulate the other candidates. In particular, I have to say Ted and Marco did a really good job,” Trump said after winning his second primary state.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio finished second with 22.5 percent, followed by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz with 22.3 percent. Bush finished fourth, followed by Ohio Gov. John Kasich in fifth and Ben Carson in sixth.
