Escaped Circus Elephant Crashes a Netherlands Yard Sale

— -- Shoppers at a flea market in the Netherlands had an unlikely competitor during their bargain shopping when an elephant from a nearby circus appeared.

The elephant, identified by the U.K.’s The Telegraph as Buba, the 40-year-old star of the Freiwald Menagrier Circus, spent a few minutes wandering the flea market last week before he was found by his trainer and returned to the circus.

The elephant’s trainer said he was most likely searching for food, the Telegraph reported.
