Hungry Giraffes Stick Necks Into Tourist Bus at North Carolina Safari Park

— -- A tourist at a North Carolina safari park learned the hard way that giraffes are really willing to stick their necks out for food.

The tourist was holding carrots inside a bus at the Aloha Safari Zoo in Cameron, North Carolina, when the giraffes caught wind of the treats.

In a video captured by her friends, who are laughing throughout, the giraffes can be seen sticking their long necks through the bus’s windows while the woman darts from seat to seat trying to escape the animals' reach.

Video of the incident was posted to YouTube in 2014 but is now going viral. Aloha Safari Zoo, an animal sanctuary that houses around 400 animals, according to its website, did not immediately respond to ABC News' request for comment.
