Aug. 30, 2013— -- It's been a bad few days for Lamar Odom.

The embattled reality star and NBA player was arrested and charged with DUI in Los Angeles this morning, ABC News has confirmed.

Odom, 33, was driving a Mercedes SUV when he was stopped on U.S. Route 101 at 3:25 a.m. and "showed objective signs of intoxications," according to California Highway Patrol. After he was unable to perform a field sobriety test, he was arrested at 3:54 a.m. and taken to Van Nuys Jail, where he was booked. There, he refused all chemical tests. Bail was set at $15,000.

Reps for Odom and Kardashian could not be immediately reached for comment.

Inside Lamar Odom's Ups and Downs

Odom, who is 6-foot-10 and weighs 235 pounds, has been married to "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star Khloé Kardashian Odom, 29, since 2009. For a time, the two had their own E! reality show, "Khloé & Lamar."

Recently, the couple has faced hard times, as various media outlets have reported that Odom has been abusing drugs.

Then, on Monday, the NBA player's agent, Jeff Schwartz, shot down rumors that Odom had been missing for 72 hours.

"Lamar is not missing. His wife knows exactly where he is," he told ESPN, though he declined to reveal his client's whereabouts.

Schwartz added: "Playing in the NBA is still very much a part of Lamar's plans."

Kardashian Odom has been tight-lipped about the media scrutiny surrounding her husband, though she did tweet an angry message on Sunday.

""Really hard to sit here and listen to people talk s--- about my family! F--- you and shame on you! I'm too protective for this s---!" she wrote.
